Dr. Janice Sutherland received an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Health Studies and Psychology minor at the University of Waterloo, in Ontario. Her Naturopathic education is from The Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in New Westminster, BC. She is also trained in Bowen Therapy and Conscious Connected Breathwork.
As a Naturopathic Physician, She has a special interest in Nervous System Regulation, and Integrative Mind-Body therapy. The nervous system affects stress levels and overall function of the entire body, organs, glands, endorphins, and neurotransmitters. Her intention in practice, is to address the root cause of imbalance through the healing power of nature, and awaken the vital force energy within, so that the body can heal itself. Dr. Sutherland manages patient concerns such as musculoskeletal injury/illness, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue / pain, digestive health, cardiovascular health, blood sugar regulation, mental health, hormone balance, women’s health, adrenal fatigue, and more. Many of Dr. Sutherland’s patients are relatively healthy, but are searching for more aliveness.
Whether a physical injury / illness, a lifetime of trauma, or simply a calling for more peace and joy in life, Dr. Sutherland guides her patients in the process of reconnecting with their highest state of well being. Her creative expression in life is developing treatment plans that support each person in their own unique way. Everyone’s process is different, and yet all have something in common. All want to be happy and healthy!
