Before Your Appointment

Because sauna and steam should be avoided for 24–48 hours prior to treatment, access to the sauna and steam rooms is NOT included with this service.
- Avoid Accutane in the six months prior to beginning your treatment sessions. Please check with your prescribing physician.
- Do not use topical agents that may increase skin sensitivity, such as retinoids, exfoliants, topical antibiotics, or acids 3–5 days prior to treatment.
- If you are prone to PIH, use brightening serums leading up to your treatment based on your therapist’s recommendations.
- Avoid IPL or laser procedures for at least 2 weeks prior to your treatment.
- No waxing, depilatory creams, or electrolysis on the area being treated for 5 days prior.
- Keep makeup to a minimum on the day of treatment, if possible.
- Do not experiment with new skincare products before your treatment.
- Avoid alcohol and caffeine 24 hours before treatment.
- Avoid excessive sun exposure before your treatment.
