Traditional Steam Room

Linden Wood • Steam Heat • High Humidity

Our steam room has lime (linden) wood paneling. When heated, this wood produces a pleasant, honey-like aroma.

Although the Traditional sauna uses the same principle of heating air and water to create steam as many baths around the world, this sweating room has some specific features.

  • Levels: Typically 2–3 shelves (levels).
  • Temperature: About 60–70°C on the bottom shelf and 80–90°C on the top shelf.
  • Humidity: Usually 70–90%. (It can take some getting used to.)
  • Pro tip: Headwear is recommended to protect the head from overheating.

The Traditional sweat room promotes healthy immunity, speeds up metabolism, restores nervous and muscular systems, and supports weight loss. Medicinal herbs can be added to produce healing effects when inhaled, and honey, salt, and other products can be used for body treatments.

  • Hydration: Replenish fluids between sessions with water, herbal tea, juice, kvass, or mineral water.
  • Avoid alcohol: We strongly advise against drinking alcohol as it further dehydrates the body.
  • Best timing: The best time to use the Traditional sauna is 1.5–2 hours after a meal.
  • Beginners: Enter the sauna no more than three times in one visit—assess your tolerance and don’t overdo it.

Recommended frequency ranges from once per month up to three times a week to achieve the best health effects.
